Shiraz is another stalwart of the Rutherglen wine region, producing wines that are typically rich and full-bodied, well balanced and refined. It’s a vigorous mid- to late-budding and ripening variety that is usually picked mid-harvest. The warmer days and cool nights of the growing and ripening seasons help to produce full-flavoured and powerful wines.
